v2026.07.29 – .45
Added

Email project status updates to stakeholders

Send a proper status update from any project: write a rich-text note, pick the client contacts to include, and the email carries the update itself — progress bar, recently completed work, in-progress tasks and key milestones — for the clients who read email but never open a status page. Every update is logged on the project with open and click tracking, and the last five appear on the client's live status portal so inbox and portal tell the same story.

Added

Round-trip your project plan through Excel

Download a project plan as a spreadsheet, rework it in Excel or Google Sheets, and upload it back. Edited tasks and milestones are updated, new rows are created, and unknown phases are added — with dropdown validation in the sheet and row-level warnings on upload. Deleting a row never deletes anything; destructive changes stay in the app.

Added

Drag, drop, link and merge tickets from the table

Duplicate tickets are now a drag away from tidy: drop one row onto another to link or merge, or multi-select and merge a whole batch into the ticket you keep. Threads, time and history move with the merge, and merged-away duplicates disappear from the list for good instead of lingering as resolved clutter.

Improvements and fixes (9)
  • Drag a file anywhere over a ticket conversation to attach it, with an explicit choice between reply-to-client and internal note
  • Log and text files can now be attached, and rejected uploads show the reason instead of failing silently
  • Assign a ticket’s contact inline from the table, or set it on a same-company batch via the bulk bar — and “Clear filters” now actually brings the full list back
  • Tickets can be linked to a pipeline opportunity, with linked tickets listed on the opportunity page
  • Companies can carry a short trading name, shown in dense views like the ticket board and searchable everywhere
  • Repeating device alerts are deduplicated into one open ticket instead of piling up by the dozen, and relayed client-device alerts no longer land on your own company
  • The vendor block-list now ships with 140 common vendor and notification domains, so automated mail can’t auto-create fake client companies — with a hardened fallback if the list is ever emptied
  • Fixed an issue where some outbound email replies were rejected by the mail server and never sent
  • Backups now include an encrypted copy of configuration and secrets alongside the database, with a step-by-step recovery runbook — a restore can rebuild a working system, not just the data

v2026.07.17 – .27
Added

The ticket page is now a full activity timeline

Every change on a ticket — status, assignee, time logged, merges, meetings, reminders — now appears in the conversation feed as compact system entries, interleaved with messages. A "new since your last visit" divider and per-user unread dots on the board and table mean you always know what changed while you were away. The composer gained per-thread tabs for vendor conversations, auto-saved drafts, and a clear warning when an email actually failed to send.

Added

Assign a team as a company's account manager

Account management is rarely one person. You can now create teams and assign a whole team as a company's account manager — quote approvals and declines notify every member, falling back to an individual or admins when no team is set. Quote outcomes now raise notifications either way, so a declined quote is never silent.

Security

Security and approval-workflow hardening

A cross-cutting hardening pass: inbound email is rendered in a strict sandbox, portal and signing links use stronger random tokens, role checks are enforced server-side on every sales and financial action, and rate limiting and redirect handling were tightened. Approvals now capture a proper audit trail, and contract terms are frozen at send time so the figures a client agreed to can never change under them.

Improvements and fixes (7)
  • Invoices page redesigned with stat tiles (outstanding, overdue, paid this month), search and status filters, and red-edged overdue rows — invoices past their due date now read as overdue even before the status flips
  • Billing runs now bill only approved time, so nothing reaches an invoice without clearing time review
  • New billing runs default to “Last month” as the period, matching how monthly billing actually works
  • The sidebar is grouped into sections, and technicians no longer see sales and financial areas that aren’t part of their job
  • Tightening the HubSpot lifecycle-stage filter now removes non-matching companies on sync — anything with local work is kept and safely unlinked
  • Approving a quote no longer risks showing the client a raw error page after their approval has already gone through
  • The Teams settings page was redesigned into tidy cards with inline renaming and hover actions

v2026.07.2
Fixed

Pasting rich text keeps tables intact

Pasting formatted content — like a table from Outlook or Excel — into the ticket reply composer no longer mangles it. Structure, rows and columns survive the trip, so quoting a client's spreadsheet snippet just works.

v2026.06.205
Fixed

SMS replies stay on the right ticket

When you text a client from a ticket that started life as an email, their SMS reply now threads back onto that same ticket instead of opening a duplicate. Replies that arrive after a ticket is closed reopen it automatically, and a 14-day window ensures an unrelated text months later starts a fresh conversation rather than reviving a stale one.

29 June 2026

v2026.06.190 – .202
Added

A full reports module

A new Reports section covering the questions an MSP owner actually asks: SLA compliance, tech utilization, per-client profit and loss, OS lifecycle with the Windows 10 deadline front and centre, aging backlog, unbilled time, project budget variance, churn risk, and device refresh candidates. Every report has period, client and tech filters plus one-click CSV export, and a printable client business-review PDF pulls it together for QBRs. Managers also get a Monday-morning digest email summarising the week ahead.

Added

Client-facing reports portal

Give every client a login-free portal link where they can see their own tickets, devices and OS lifecycle, service hours, SLA performance, and contracts and invoices — plus a downloadable business review. Each portal is strictly scoped to that client's data, with none of your internal figures exposed.

Added

Per-line billing cadence on contracts

Each contract line can now bill monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or as a one-off — so annual domain hosting and quarterly licensing live on the same contract as the monthly service fee. Non-monthly lines are amortised into your MRR figures, the contracts list gains an ARR card, and the contract PDF and client portal both spell out each line's cadence.

Improvements and fixes (8)
  • Retire a device with a required reason — decommissioned devices vanish from lists and pickers but keep their full history, and device sync won’t resurrect them
  • The company Devices card now groups Infrastructure, Workstations and Network gear separately, with Online/Offline filter pills for quick triage
  • Rebuilt new-device form with clearly labelled fields and a live warranty summary — device age, calculated warranty end date, and colour-coded time remaining
  • Workstation and Laptop added as manual device types, with Workstation the new default
  • Global search now handles multi-word queries and company names, and ranks the person you searched for ahead of the rest of their organisation
  • The ticket assignee dropdown lists your techs the moment it opens — no typing required
  • Backup monitoring joined the health dashboard, and connection problems now explain themselves in plain English instead of a generic failure message
  • Project settings can calculate estimated hours and price straight from the task estimates at your chosen rate
